   If the iPad had free 3G data plan (even capped at 20 Gb) it would probably kill the Kindle’s market.

   That said I pre-ordered the new graphite. It’s light enough to read in bed one handed (something the iPad can not do) and will be a step up from my Kobo.

   sure it has an experimental webkit browser now. It had a browser even before. You can use it to read some blogs and news sites, check wikipedia, and even your mail (it’s a bit slow but gets the job done).

   Battery life is 1 month with 3g off and 10 days with 3g on. I want one.

   You have to be kidding me. For the price of the iPad I could build myself a nice computer!
   The kindle costs a fraction of the iPad not to mention its more portable (as e-readers should be) the battery life is like 4 days and it amazon have a much bigger library than apple.
